Running for Solitude

Where do you go when you need solitude?

Anywhere I can run, I have solitude.

Running is a great way to get into your own head and out of it at the same time.

If I’m stressed, I run. If I need to work something through, I run. If I need some space or time to myself, I run. If I need fresh air, I run.

My preference is to run along the esplanade next to the ocean or along a paved or graded gravel path through a forest. Both have lots of fresh air and open space, and even more chance for solitude.

Solitude is so important for a person’s mental health, Ashley. A great way to clear the cobwebs out. There is not a better way to do it than a good run. Along the ocean and through a forest both sound wonderful. ๐Ÿ˜€๐Ÿ‘๐Ÿƒโ€โ™€๏ธ
